1 STRATEGY
A BIM World booth should allow visitors to understand your proposal before delving into the details of its features. Therefore, to frame the project, the first question isn't "How many screens?" but rather "What professional situation do we want to help the visitor solve?".
The strategy might prioritize discovering a solution, presenting a new use case, meeting with specifiers, or scheduling appointments to further explore a project. These objectives require different layouts: a group demonstration, individual hands-on experience, and discussions about a deployment require different conditions.
2B® incorporates this hierarchy into the design of the visitor flow and the allocation of space.
Value engineering weighs creative choices against costs, operational constraints, and potential for reuse. It helps determine the best approach, balancing a large display area, multiple demonstration stations, a technical storage area, or more space for meetings.
To evaluate your presence, we recommend distinguishing between demonstrations conducted, needs identified, and appointments secured. Passing by a screen does not, in itself, constitute qualified contact.
2 Alliance
A booth dedicated to digital solutions brings together several stakeholders: communications, sales, demonstrators, IT teams, and technical experts. The challenge is to align their decisions before manufacturing begins.
2B® organizes this coordination by combining its design, procurement, and logistics teams with a network of specialized partners. Carpentry, audiovisual equipment, lighting, and signage are thus integrated into a single project preparation process, with a clear distinction between the agency's resources and the services of its partners.
For BIM World, this method makes it possible to anticipate the interfaces between furniture and equipment: screen dimensions, computer placement, access to connectors, cable routing, and demonstrator positions. Equipment chosen at the last minute can alter the counter where it is placed or the visibility of a message.
Manufacturing checks and partial or complete pre-assembly, documented by 2B®, serve to verify the assemblies, fixings, and connections before shipment. The goal is to address these points in preparation rather than discovering them during installation.
Understanding the ecosystem before you exhibit
Digital Twin | BIM World
➀ Five areas of focus for stakeholders with different expectations
The 2027 preliminary program identifies five key areas: Public Services & Local Authorities; Landlords, Property Companies & Asset Managers; Construction Tech; Infrastructure; and Training & Skills. It addresses topics such as ecological planning, asset management, digital uses on construction sites, maintenance, and the evolution of construction professions.
This diversity encourages you to offer multiple entry points to your services. The same solution can be presented from the perspective of decision-making, operations, or daily use.
Our recommendation: maintain a consistent brand message and then organize demonstrations around clearly defined scenarios. Visitors should be able to identify the relevant topic without having to browse your entire catalog.
➁ Data continuity, beyond visualization
The preliminary program explicitly addresses data loss between construction and operation, the reliability of modeling information, georeferenced data, and the digital continuity of infrastructure.
Artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, and cybersecurity are also among the announced topics. For your booth, a spectacular display is therefore not always enough to explain the usefulness of a tool.
We recommend showing a progression: what data enters the solution, what processing is performed, and what use becomes possible.
This approach can be implemented through a guided demonstration, permanent reading materials, and a space to discuss implementation conditions with your specialists.
➂ Two days to organize, combining discovery and in-depth exploration
The announced opening hours are 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM on March 31st and 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on April 1st, 2027. The conference program is subject to change.
We recommend planning two levels of interaction: a brief introduction to understand the offering and a more in-depth meeting to discuss integration, operation, or support.
In terms of layout, this means separating the reception area, the demonstration area, and the discussion area. The goal is not to create numerous partitions, but to prevent a group gathered in front of a screen from blocking access to the rest of the booth.
The competitive environment at the exhibition
To stand out at BIM World, it's better to explain a useful difference than to simply throw together terms like "platform," "artificial intelligence," or "digital twin."
What problem does your solution address? At what stage of a project does it come into play? Who is it for? What can visitors actually discover at your booth?
These questions form a design framework. They help determine which information is visible from the aisle, which is reserved for demonstrations, and which requires a discussion with an expert. 2B®'s work on volumes, viewing angles, and signage supports this gradual exploration. The space should encourage visitors to stop and look, but also make it clear why they should continue the conversation.
A booth at BIM World is a tool for education, demonstration, and networking, not decoration.
For BIM World 2027, we recommend a three-step approach: identify the need, see the solution in action, and then discuss its application.
At the entrance, the message presents a use case rather than a list of features. At the demonstration station, visitors should be able to follow the process without hindering the operator. In the discussion area, your teams have the necessary resources to understand the prospect's context and prepare for the next steps.
2B® integrates these use cases into spatial design and equipment selection. Screens, interactive kiosks, and audiovisual devices are options to be tailored to the project, not elements to be automatically added. Sales preparation remains equally important: plan how to document the expressed need, identify the relevant contact person, and agree on the next steps. The booth facilitates meetings; its effective use by your teams gives it commercial reach.
2B®'s expertise applied to the challenges of BIM and digital twins
Commitments that secure your BIM World project
Since 1991, 2B® has been designing and building custom exhibition stands. This expertise in spatial design is based on an organization that combines research, technical preparation, and deployment.
For BIM World, the agency's four areas of expertise address complementary needs. Design makes the offering clear and organizes its use. Value engineering informs technical and budgetary decisions. Logistics coordinates transport and installation. Storage prepares for the preservation and reactivation of selected elements for future events.
Project responsibility also lies in these decisions. The 2027 preliminary program addresses responsible purchasing, renovation, and resource efficiency. These conference themes do not, in themselves, constitute environmental requirements for exhibition stands. However, they encourage consistency between the message presented and the means of display.
At the venue level, Viparis is documenting, in particular, an on-site sorting center and accessibility features at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. For exhibitors, the actions to prepare concern the choice of components, their disassembly, the disposal of the elements after the trade show, and the quality of access to the presentation areas. The specific terms and conditions of the event should be verified in its applicable documents.
2B® incorporates responsible purchasing, resource management, health and safety, and ethical practices into its sustainable development policy. Reuse is planned from the design stage and then extended through packaging, maintenance, and storage. A carbon footprint assessment of the project can supplement these decisions. 2B® offers a calculator developed with Climeet; its use must be aligned with the available data, the areas covered, and the assumptions made. A stand estimate should not be confused with the agency's overall carbon footprint or the trade show's overall footprint.

Document Compliance
The certificate issued on September 10, 2026, attests to the documentary compliance concerning the Kbis (company registration certificate) and the URSSAF (social security contributions), with the documents valid until October 29, 2026. This recognition is not a state certification. For a project in 2027, the administrative file must be updated at the time of contract signing.
Technical requirements specific to BIM World 2027
Bespoke design aligned with your brand
A publisher offering a collaborative platform, a data capture specialist, and a training organization don't all require the same setup.
For the first, we recommend highlighting the transitions between different stakeholders or project stages. For the second, the layout can integrate the displayed materials, the generated data, and their uses. For the third, it can emphasize the discovery of a learning path and the discussion of the required skills.
These are design guidelines to be developed collaboratively with you, not imposed formats. Customization involves organizing these differences within the architecture: the placement of demonstrations, the depth of interaction, the visibility of key messages, the organization of materials, and the flow of team members. It's not simply a matter of applying a logo to a structure.
A premium approach for demanding exhibitors
At BIM World, we recommend focusing on the precision of the user experience: a clear interface, lighting that doesn't interfere with the screen, a comfortable demonstration station, and finishes consistent with your brand identity.
2B® emphasizes the uniqueness of volumes, materials, textiles, integrated furniture, and lighting elements in its high-end design. For your project, these choices should support usability, not overshadow the understanding of your solution. A high-quality space can be understated. The right proportions, the right viewing angle, and carefully chosen finishing details can be more effective than an accumulation of equipment.
Frequently asked questions
We recommend combining a permanent display of the use case, a guided demonstration, and backup materials prepared by your team. Visitors should understand the problem being addressed even when a workstation is occupied. In the 2B® design, this means clearly distinguishing the message visible from the aisle from the interactive screen, and then ensuring a comfortable viewing position for the demonstration.
Organize the initial information by need rather than by catalog: decision-making, operation, production, or training. This approach reflects the diverse focus areas of the 2027 preliminary program. The design work with 2B® can then incorporate a shared reception area and tailored demonstration materials, avoiding the need for multiple enclosed spaces. Specify in your brief the key contacts and the types of interaction you wish to have with each.
Beyond the structure itself, plan for demonstration furniture, screens and stands, lighting, cabling, connectivity, power supplies, storage, and logistics. Distinguish between equipment you bring yourself, equipment you rent, and services billed separately. 2B®'s value engineering helps compare solutions based on their overall cost, rather than just the stand's construction price. Technical pricing for 2027 is still to be confirmed.
The support provided can cover scoping, design, plans and 3D renderings, signage, production coordination, equipment integration, transport, assembly, and dismantling. Storage, reconfiguration for other events, and carbon footprint assessments can be tailored to your needs. The agreed-upon scope distinguishes between selected services, equipment provided by the exhibitor, and orders related to the trade show.
We recommend separating the permanent elements of the installation from the contents that may change: keep compatible structures and furniture, then replace any necessary coverings or supports. 2B® documents services for inventory, maintenance, reconditioning, and preparation for future shipments. The suitability of reuse depends on the condition of the elements, the new surfaces, and the usage schedule.
Turn your presence at BIM World into a business driver
Your presence at BIM World 2027 should help you move from a technological promise to a concrete understanding of your offering.
The project begins with a few key decisions: the key contacts you want to meet, the use cases you want to demonstrate, the necessary equipment, and the follow-up actions. The design, technical decisions, and operational organization are then built around these priorities. Share your needs with 2B® to begin the process of designing a booth tailored to your demonstrations, your brand, and your objectives.
